🗳 Candidates:

✅ Lampros Antonakos

Lampros Antonakos is a Senior Manager, Certified Public Accountant with over 11 years at Deloitte Greece, specialising in the financial and banking sector. He has worked with leading clients in the banking industry in Greece, managing complex audit projects for banks, real estate companies, mutual funds, and investment firms. His professional expertise includes auditing financial statements and providing assurance services, assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial data, designing and implementing audit programs, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. He is a full member of ACCA and the Hellenic Institute of Certified Public Accountants (SOEL) and continues to develop his professional skills through ongoing education.

✅ Stratos Baloutsos

Stratos Baloutsos is the Head of the AUEB Technology Transfer Office and Director of Operations at the European Cooperative Society "Start For Future SCE". He also holds a PhD from AUEB in the field of Entrepreneurship and Innovation with his research interests focusing on Innovation Ecosystems and Start-ups. He holds B.Sc and M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, as well as an M.B.A. degree from AUEB (iMBA - FT18). Stratos has significant experience in advising and mentoring start-ups at ACE (AUEB's incubator) and has worked in many European research and development projects creating relevant business models and exploitation/dissemination strategies. In the past he has also worked as a mechanical engineer and later as a consultant to consulting firms in the areas of business, marketing, market research, and market strategy.

✅ Leon Gavalas

Leon Gavalas is the Co-Founder and CEO of Bespot, a location intelligence company he co-founded in 2018. A Forbes 30 Under 30 Greece honoree (2021), he is also a founding member and first President of ThinkBiz Hellas. Leon is a PhD candidate at AUEB, researching Shopper Marketing and new technologies. He holds an International MBA and a BSc in Management Science and Technology, both from AUEB, and has worked as a consultant at AUEB's Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and as a researcher at ELTRUN.

✅ Giorgos Gklavas

Giorgos Gklavas, born in Athens in 1990, is an entrepreneur in business and fashion. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Technology and an International MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Giorgos founded two fashion companies: Becasual, a retail business offering stylish and accessible fashion, and Plus Attitude, a wholesale firm supplying fashion products to retailers. These ventures have honed his business skills and leadership. Passionate about networking and community, Giorgos actively promotes professional connections and supports alumni initiatives, aiming to foster collaboration, mentorship, and shared success among graduates.

✅ Giorgos Iliopoulos

Giorgos Iliopoulos, born in Athens in 1983, is an Environmental Science graduate from Aegean University and completed a Fulbright-Humphrey Fellowship at Cornell University. He holds a Master's in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Aegean (honors). Giorgos has worked for the Global Reporting Initiative in the Netherlands, the World Bank, and KERAMIDA Inc in the US. He founded AIPHORIA Consulting and is currently the Director of ESG & Sustainability Services at KPMG Greece. He was also Chairman of the Union of Environmental Scientists of Greece and a Board Member of Ecogenia. He enjoys outdoor activities, mountain hiking, running, and reading.

✅ Iakovos Zournatzis

Iakovos Zournatzis, with a BA in Computer Engineering, is the co-founder of GB Innovations, a startup in e-commerce and AI, and a member of Elevate Greece. He contributes to the Greek eCommerce Association, fostering industry advancements. Passionate about history and strategy books, he is running for the alumni board to strengthen the community through enhanced networking, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing. Iakovos aims to leverage alumni expertise for societal impact and build a supportive network that empowers members and creates growth opportunities.
